About AJ

I was grateful to attend Stanford GSB and Stanford Law School, and I want others to unlock opportunities for their own explosive growth. My background was about as non-traditional as they come. I worked in construction, design, government, and finally tech---never in a legal role nor for a marquee business. Yet I got in and flourished. I want to help you do what I did as an applicant: Come to better understand yourself, the gifts you give others, and what you will gain from graduate school that will enable you to give even more ahead. In my experience coaching applicants, those who undertake this radical self-examination tend to get into their top-choice school---even though or perhaps because this process empowers applicants to believe they will succeed even if they do not get in. I'm especially adept at helping applicants considering two degrees at once, including a JD/MBA.
