I was also able to do a secondment at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for a year. At McKinsey, I was a Faculty member who led first and second-year analyst trainings and conducted hundreds of hours of interview coaching. And in college at the University of Michigan, I peer coached dozens of students to offers at McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Accenture, Strategy&, and Deloitte.

I worked at McKinsey & Company in the Boston office for two years, where I was actively involved in campus recruiting. My journey into consulting was unconventional—I started college as a music major with most of my experiences rooted in the arts, and I successfully landed a consulting internship after only hearing about the industry a few months prior. After successfully recruiting for the internship, I also led on-campus mentoring for aspiring consultants and have gone through hundreds of practice case interviews. I feel that my experiences have given me unique perspectives, and I'd love to continue helping others who may not have a traditional business background or feel unfamiliar with the consulting world.

As a past intern and incoming associate consultant at Bain & Company, I bring a strong foundation in strategic problem-solving and analytical skills honed through my diverse experiences in civil engineering and leadership roles. I have successfully coached 20+ individuals, helping them navigate the competitive landscape of management consulting. As a former Senior Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, I bring extensive experience in management consulting, having led key projects and managed junior members across various industries. I have helped conduct first-round interviews for Bain's AC and ACI program, co-led recruitment programming, and helped dozens of candidates land roles at Bain and other MBB / Top 5 firms. After breaking into MBB consulting coming from a non-target university, I gained experience across a multitude of industries (Energy, Industrials, Telecommunications, to name a few) and project types, allowing me to interface with people coming from different backgrounds and experiences. This depth of experience influences how I coach, which focuses on HOW someone is thinking, what is influencing their thought process, and where opportunities for improvement exist, rather than strictly focusing on WHAT someone is thinking.

I bring a real-world, no-nonsense approach to management consulting built on years of experience working across military, government, private, public, and nonprofit organizations throughout the country. I have helped organizations navigate complex transitions, improve operations, and make better strategic decisions in environments where the stakes are high and mistakes are expensive. My work has directly contributed to companies saving millions of dollars, eliminating inefficiencies, and getting leadership teams aligned when things were not working. I understand how organizations actually function under pressure, not just how they look on paper. My background reflects that depth. I hold a doctorate in coaching and a second doctorate in organizational change and leadership, along with an MBA and a master’s in project management. I am also the author of Who’s Got Your Six?, which focuses on accountability, trust, and making better decisions when it matters most. But more importantly, I know how to apply all of that in the real world. I am not here to overwhelm you with theory or corporate jargon.
