Over 600,000 skilled positions go unfilled every year. The government rewrote its immigration law in 2023 specifically to bring international talent in. Public universities charge close to nothing. Switzerland is not part of the EU. It does not have the largest job market in Europe. And it is, by most measures, one of the most expensive countries in the world to live in.
