During my sophomore year at Georgia State University, I met Jamila at a career organization event while applying for an IBM Marketing & Communications internship. I asked her to review my resume and she helped me effectively highlight my skills and achievements by using action verbs and quantifying my experiences. Because of her, I secured the interview and after I asked for her help again for behavioral interview preparation. We practiced common questions, and she taught me how to properly execute the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) method to structure my responses.
