I reached out to Colin upon recommendation from a professor from our university due to our similar career interests and his reputation as an outstanding student. From the start, he has been nothing but helpful as I begin to navigate the law school application process. It’s been about a year since I first reached out and since then he has gone above and beyond to help me from providing me contacts to connect with to providing internship advice to acting as a supportive mentor who genuinely cares about my progress as a student and young professional. Sho Lin is patient, knowledgeable, and above all else, genuinely invested in the success of her clients. I applied R1 to all M7 programs with solidly average GMAT score / undergrad GPA as well as a fairly generic professional experience (i.e. boutique consulting). She helped me understand what elements of my application to highlight vs. reframe, making sure I packaged myself in the best way. I was admitted to CBS and Booth and am ecstatic to be starting my MBA journey in Chicago this fall. After committing, I've continued to seek her perspectives on what classes to take / student groups to join, etc. as I think about pivoting into the VC / startup scene.

Working with Lisa changed my life. She taught me about emotional intelligence and that ultimately changed the trajectory of my career and my life. If I never met Lisa I’d still be the constantly angry and miserable person I used to be with a lot more health problems due to the added stress being so emotionally disregulated would’ve put my body under. Her encouragement led to me starting the novel I’m working on and pursuing job opportunities I otherwise might’ve passed on. Lisa is the type of manager who truly understands the assignment and nobody who works with her does so without being changed for the better.

Ryan is a very inspirational leader. She leads with passion, energy and by example. You can feel her passion and knowledge of the subject while coaching/leading.
