Carlos was my most influential mentor during college. At UC Irvine, he was the lead of my design team at a student organization to build websites for non-profits in Southern California. Being a designer on his team prepared me to enter the professional design world. Not only did he guide me and my team through the end-to-end human-centered design process, he mentored me personally on my design portfolio and gave me advice on seeking design roles. His mentorship helped me to reach the full-time product design position I now hold post-college. He truly cares about the success of his mentees and has a wealth of knowledge to share.
