Ren is a phenomenal coach. I applied to GSB, HBS, and Wharton, and our biggest challenge was deciding whether to withdraw my H/W application early after my admission to GSB. (We did). Having recently gone through the application process and secured multiple offers of admission, Ren has astute, detailed, and up-to-date knowledge of the top programs. He understands how the admissions committees of each school differentiate themselves and was exceptionally helpful in designing tailored applications. He's a fantastic option if you feel strongly about a few schools – and if you don't, he'll help you understand which are the best fit for you. Ren also settles for nothing less than perfection. In my essays, we went through several turns to ensure we had the correct level of emotion, created a logical through-line, and hit the program's core qualities. We burrowed into the wording in résumé bullets, recommender packet responses, and my answers in the actual applications. Ren quickly helped my essays and other materials reach a level I felt satisfied with – then he challenged me to go beyond. By the way, Ren's firsthand experience with deferred enrollment applications and pursuit for perfection makes him an awesome mock interview partner. Finally—I think this is an underrated part of choosing a coach—it was always a pleasure chatting with Ren. When I wanted them to be, our calls were direct and mission-focused. Other times, we talked about miscellaneous life events and things unrelated to the MBA application. Through formal and informal conversations, Ren put in a tremendous amount of effort to understand my background, motivations, and defining characteristics, which combined with extensive knowledge of various programs to craft compelling, school-specific narratives. Ren and I got to know each other well during the process, and that made us a more effective team. (By the way, I told Ren he should be charging way more for his services, so apologies to his future clients).

The Sloan application is a little different from most other schools and Arthur's experience and familiarity with it was very helpful in adapting my story and application to suit. He was clear on timelines and invaluable in brainstorming with me to arrive at something I was really happy with. He was encouraging and approachable throughout and enjoyable to work with.

Arthur played a significant role in my acceptance to my dream school. I got in to the Executive MBA program at MIT Sloan. I worked with Alice on my MIT Sloan pre-interview questions and Kellogg waitlist letters, and I must say, she's incredibly knowledgeable about the process and offers genuine support. Although she didn't necessarily need to review the pre-interview data slides, she took the initiative to do so and provided valuable insights on how to enhance them further. Alice goes above and beyond to ensure that your essays are of the highest quality, always considering the admissions perspective. She's consistently accessible, even on short notice, and is very invested in your success. My experience working with Alice has been nothing short of exceptional.

Jasmine was an amazing coach for deferred MBA applications. She did an amazing job helping me organize my essays and making them sparkle. She was also super quick sending feedback and answering any questions I had throughout the process. It was really valuable to have a cheerleader through the application process and the support made a huge difference in the effectiveness of my application and interviews.

Pravesh is an amazing coach for the med school application cycle. From the very beginning he was always committed to understanding my goals and guiding me towards achieving them. He started by having a simple conversations to learn about me as a person and as an applicant. Once he had gotten to know me a bit, we began exploring potential themes for my personal statement, as well as crafting a strategic school list. Throughout the process of planning, writing, and editing he was very communicative and motivating. I found Pravesh’s help to be most impactful with interview preparation! He has tons of knowledge on various interview formats and what each school desires in an applicant. I attribute much of my success during the interviews to Pravesh’s guidance. I only did a ding analysis. Karla illuminated for me a compelling core narrative I had been overlooking in my essays & candidacy and helped me refocus on priorities for next cycle.

Initially, I connected with Vanessa to improve my consulting case interview skills. We did a couple of cases, and all of her feedbacks are actionable and broken down into individual sections, which makes it easy to understand. She is also very understanding and gives tips in areas of improvement. I would work with Vanessa again for consulting case interviews when the opportunity comes up again. I also worked with Vanessa on my deferred MBA application, from brainstorming essay topics to resume review. To draft my essays, she provided helpful resources for self-reflection that aligns my background and interests to my future goals. We would also go through essay edits to make the story more concise. She would also point out any areas that may cause confusion and suggest a way to clarify any ambiguous parts. For my resume, she provided another perspective on how I could polish it and highlight the impact of my experience. Additionally, when times to get rough when going through GMAT prep, she understands how hard it is and encourages me to try again. It is comforting to know that someone who went through the same application process faced the same roadblocks and ultimately is able to overcome it. As a result, I did ended up receiving interview invites from M7 schools, and I believe that Vanessa played a major part in it.

I worked with Tim to prep my interview for a M7 MBA program. He teaches you exactly what to expect during interview day. To achieve this. Tim will carefully analyze your response and provide immediate and actionable feedback. By the time the interview day rolls around, I feel calm and comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend Tim for MBA coaching.
