From the beginning, Debby really makes sure you know exactly what you need to achieve your goals. In my opinion, the greatest thing is that she really facilitated how I wanted to present myself; this way, my application was authentic and remained true to who I really am, and I think this played a big role in achieving success. I really recommend her!

As a graduate student candidate multiple years removed from admissions game and weak admissions profile, I knew I needed help from someone like Joseph to apply with my best foot forward. There are mountains. MOUNTAINS of advice on how to game B School applications. This isn’t Ben. Ben will have you climb a different mountain: distill what is uniquely you. The benefit of that exercise extends far beyond any application. He’ll then help you communicate yourself, powerfully. He’s qualified because he’s one of the most effective communicators I’ve met. All in all, I expected my Leland experience to be transactional, but necessary. I didn’t expect my coach to be intensely interested in me, I didn’t expect to know myself better, and I didn’t expect to come away from it all with a permanent shot of confidence. Boy was I surprised. So if any of that sounds interesting and you want to put together a potent, genuine application with somebody that has your back at every step, Ben is your guy.

I started working with Ellen towards the end of my first application cycle and had no idea where to begin as I started the reapplication process. Ellen took her time to answer all my questions and guided me through the process of improving my application. Additionally, Ellen mentored me as I prepared for the CASPER exam and interviews. She was always there to remind me that I could do it and that I would be able to get into my dream school. She truly cares about her clients and goes above and beyond to support them. She is the best!

Working with Margo was an incredible experience and one I will always be grateful for. Noy was an incredible coach and played a huge role in helping me get admitted to all 3 of my Round 1 schools: Sloan, Tuck, and Georgetown McDonough. He works absolute magic when it comes to translating your experiences into compelling core stories, which is something I had been struggling with before meeting him. Despite not having a military background himself, he helped me articulate my military experiences in a way that was both authentic and impactful. He also helped me significantly with my résumé and even guided me in crafting stronger stories for my recommenders so they could deliver powerful messages. This was my first experience using Leland for coaching, and because of Noy, I’ve been recommending the platform to everyone applying to business school. I would recommend Noy to anyone looking for a coach who is talented, supportive, and truly invested in your success.

As a STEM major wanting to pivot to the legal field, I remember sitting down to write my personal statements and blanking over and over again. That is when I reached out to Craig on LeLand. We set up an intro call, and I knew immediately that his insight would get me into an amazing law school. For the next few months, Craig helped me create a strong portfolio highlighting how my unique background and interests make me a competitive candidate for the top law schools in the nation. Ultimately, his patience, guidance, and support led me to receive an offer of admission from Columbia Law School and the University of Toronto. Overall, Craig was a pleasure to work with. His schedule was extremely flexible—always being a phone call or a message away when I had a quick question or needed to discuss topics at a greater length.
