Working with Debby was one of the best decisions I made while going through the PhD application process. Debby helped me prepare for interviews and was incredibly encouraging, thorough, and supportive throughout. She was available to meet with me on short notice and coach me through mock interviews. Because of her, I had great interviews and was admitted to my top choice program! I highly, highly recommend working with Debby!

I worked with Emily as a Round 2 MBA applicant for the 2026 admissions cycle, and I honestly cannot recommend her enough. From our very first 15-minute introductory chat, she immediately took the time to understand my goals, what genuinely interested me, and why I was pursuing an MBA. Even in that short conversation, she gave me confidence that this process was manageable and that I belonged in it. She took the time to hear my working style (I knew I liked to work solo and chat with her adhoc) - I appreciate her empowering me from the beginning to own my MBA journey. Throughout the entire application journey, Emily was incredibly responsive and thoughtful. She was always quick to reply to messages (even when I was traveling abroad!) helped calm me down when I was spiraling, and consistently offered clear, actionable advice. Her support on essay writing was especially valuable - she helped me tailor each essay to what individual schools were lookin for, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, and pushed me to pivot my story if she felt like I focused on the same thing too many times. Emily’s background as a former AdCom member made a huge difference. She had a sharp eye for where my writing was too verbose and where it needed more depth, and she helped me tell my story in a way that felt like me but also what schools needed. I also loved working with her on interview prep - our mock interview and her detailed feedback were incredibly helpful and made a real difference in how confident and prepared I felt. I worked with Gloria to prepare for my Case Western Interview, and she gave very helpful feedback and pointers for crafting responses to certain questions. Our session felt productive, and I would definitely recommend doing a mock interview with her, if you're looking for practice!

Having Maajid as my coach completely reframed the way I approached my deferred MBA applications. He helped me workshop my career vision and put it together in a way that made sense to an admissions committee. In the end, I was able to get multiple M7 admits—including HBS—thanks to Maajid's knowledge and guidance!

As an international candidate from a traditional (finance) background, I knew it would be very important to differentiate myself in the application process and Allie was a great help as she pieced together different parts of my application into a unique story. Despite coming to Allie barely a few weeks before application deadlines, she provided me end-to-end support, advising me to tailor my essays to better fit each school’s qualities. With the help of Bill, I was able to secure admittance to both Darden and McCombs. He helped me think critically about my past and consider how I can meaningfully share my experiences with the admission teams to help craft a consistent story around my long-term career goals. In addition, Bill helped prepare me for my interview, giving me insightful advice on how to approach the questions and let my personality shine. His mock interview and feedback was so incredibly helpful - I felt so prepared for my interviews. I would recommend anyone to work with Bill!!

I found out about Kelsey recently and immediately knew I needed her, given her background and experience in admissions at CBS, to analyse my application and understand why I was dinged from one of top schools. She identified very specific reasons, going line by line, and offered clear, actionable suggestions that showed me exactly where I could improve next time. Ben is the key reason why I got into CBS and Booth. 1. His engaging, prying conversations with me led me to figure out my core essay theme and made writing way easier than it ever had been. I wrote about a topic that I never would’ve thought I could write about. 2. He shifted my direction for my recommendations in a way that ended up being a lot more effective than my original plan. 3. He did a full revamp of my resume before we got started on anything else so that we wouldn’t have to worry about that. Not only was Ben a great coach, he was also a friend throughout the process and made it clear that he cared about both my MBA outcomes AND my life outcomes. Highly recommend!
