Elijah was instrumental from start to finish. What stood out immediately was how intentional he was about understanding me. We spent time early on identifying the core throughline of my application, which made every subsequent step—school list, personal statement, secondaries—feel focused and strategic rather than scattered. His feedback is direct, specific, and high-level. He doesn’t just edit for grammar or flow—he pushes you to think more clearly and write with purpose. I came away from every session with concrete improvements and a much better understanding of how admissions committees actually read applications. Where his support made the biggest difference was interview prep. He has an exceptional sense for what different schools are looking for and how to position your story accordingly. I was admitted to all the graduate programs I applied to, including Columbia, Brown, Cornell, and Dartmouth, and I truly credit a significant part of that to working with Felipe. From selecting programs and shaping my personal statements to refining essays and preparing for interviews, Felipe guided me through every stage of the process. Given my tight timeline, what initially felt overwhelming quickly became very manageable under his guidance. He was extremely knowledgeable, highly responsive, and consistently generous with his time, always willing to meet and provide thoughtful feedback. With acceptance to Tuck, Georgetown, and Emory Goizueta, I saw the transformation of my package through Faisal's guidance. Before we started our counseling sessions, my vision for MBA was not clear. His questions digging layers deeper made me think years in advance of my goals. The biggest guidance was for crafting my story. Faisal helped connect my past, present, and future goals. I knew the direction and the path post-MBA through Faisal's recommendations. In addition, his prompt and clear guidance on essays really made the difference. I had lower GPAs and GRE scores compared to my peers, and yet I really believe the essays played a vital part. With my non-traditional background, Faisal translated my experiences to be understandable to the admissions committee. Finally, the additional documentations (i.e. resume, recommendation letters, additional information) really bolstered my package. He provided advice on ways to improve my scores like MBA Math and HBS Core, as well as provide justifications for my undergraduate classes. These small details really made the difference.
