“Remember the impact that you want to make in your life.” That was the advice Isabela shared with me before and during my application process for MBA and MPP programs. Coming from a background in consulting but with an interest in international development, I wanted to put together a narrative that captured what I aspired to achieve and the steps that led me to where I am in my application. Isabela graciously took the time to review my application and provided tangible advice on how to better craft my story. Beyond that, she also helped me to think about my career holistically. She challenged me to think long term not only about my future career position but also the difference I wanted to make and how the programs I’ve applied to can help me get there. Through her help I’ve received an interview for a top M7 MBA program where I also intend to do a joint MPP degree at. As I await for a final decision in April, I’m confident that I’ve been able to put my best foot forward with Isabela’s help.
