Jenny is a highly empathetic, professional coach who helped me make dramatic changes in my life. Working with her, I became more intentional and confident in inner thoughts, approach to my day to day, and major decisions. While working together, I changed jobs, got engaged, and moved abroad. Jenny was the first life coach I worked with and was referred to me by a friend. I wasn’t sure what to expect from coaching, but Jenny quickly provided structure and set expectations with me to get us started and hit the ground running. This included aligning on what I wanted to get out of each session and the coaching style I preferred. She also had materials and reference documents we could use for collaboration. In our sessions, Jenny always came prepared, focused, and with a toolset of approaches to help me explore my thoughts and emotions (something I didn’t realize I was often ignoring) and nudge me toward finding my own path forward. Jenny is talented at helping others find their own answers from within rather than giving advice from her experience (which she can also do if you ask!). In our sessions, Jenny was very skilled in guiding visualizations, asking thought-provoking questions, gently challenging me to think or act differently, and was always empathetic. Specifically, Jenny helped me learn to recognize my inner saboteurs and critics as I was feeling insecure and lacking confidence after being promoted at work. In my personal life, she helped me discover what I really wanted out of life (to move abroad with my husband) rather than what I was doing out of fear (staying at a corporate job in the US). Without her guidance and support, I think would have stayed “stuck” where I didn’t really want to be for much longer. She also helped me think about all of these aspects of my life holistically and assess how they fit together. I highly recommend Jenny as a coach. She is client-focused, experienced, and professional and helps her clients change their lives.
