About Eric
After graduating from Penn, I joined a strategy team at The Walt Disney Company. After supporting several billion dollars worth of operating projects, including the selection and development of Disney / ABC’s new headquarters in New York, I took a job with a leading investor and real estate developer in Europe, leadving sunny Los Angeles for Warsaw, Poland (a country in which I knew no one nor spoke the language!). Over the next several years, our team deployed capital across Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania. During my time in Poland, I worked to build out the firm’s investment team in addition to becoming Head Coach of the Polish Men’s National Lacrosse team, helping them successfully qualify for the 2023 World Lacrosse Championships. After three years in Poland, I returned to the US to attend the Stanford GS. As Arbuckle Leadership Fellow, I spend much of my time coaching (and being coached by) peers and focusing on career development. I now work as a VP at a real estate private equity firm, where I am involved in both the acquisition and operation of assets across the United States.
Why do I coach?
Prior to working with executive coaches while at Stanford, I frequently found myself struggling with “purpose.” It was hard to determine whether I was doing things because they were meaningful to me, or because I thought others would vaule them. Through diligent effort with several coaches, and lots of self reflection, I was able to learn more about myself and what is most important to me. That journey (which I am still on) has been incredibly meaningful to me, and I look forward to helping you along a similar path!
