In the summer of 2025, I learned how to NOT prepare for the Bar Exam - cramming, passively watching videos, flipping through essays telling myself I could do the same thing without needing to practice. As you can expect, I failed - in the process becoming the only person in my class at Stanford Law School to do so, as a prominent Reuters article kindly reminded me.
Over the next few months, I buckled down and tried my best to figure this test out while preparing to retake in February: what's really important, what isn't, and what tools are actually helpful. It turns out studying properly is important! I increased my score by nearly 40 points and passed in February 2026. It was in many ways the most transformative period of my life, and I want to do everything I can to share what I learned to help others get across the line their first time.
At this event, I'll be discussing my experiences with Barbri, the MBA, AdapitBar, the importance of flash cards, and much much more to help you cross the line successfully this July. If you are at a T14 feeling a little cocky about this test, make sure to attend! I was in your shoes and I hope you're never in mine. Let's crush this thing together.
