About Zina
I am an author and coach and have 22 years of experience in education, and I have helped students from many different parts of the world in various subjects such as Teaching English as a foreign language, Essay, Composition, Reading Comprehension, Phonics, math, and more. I have also been a published author since 2012. I have two books published; the first was done via a Hybrid Publisher, Morgan James Publishing, in New York, New York, in 2014, and my second was published independently via Amazon in 2021. I also started a not-for-profit foundation in 2022 called Writing Because I Can't Not Write group.
Why do I coach?
Because I love to help others, whether it is through helping them overcome academic obstacles, helping them improve English, or helping them make their dream of writing come true. I love to share all I have learned in the business industry, so others can also grow in their own profession.

Connecting with learners in person or online working with K-adult (Elementary to College) students teaching various subjects: math, composition, ESL, reading comprehension, study skills, the sciences, algebra, history, english, resume building, and many other subjects. Developing curriculum and creating lesson plans specifically designed towards each student’s needs. Providing tests, keeping students on track, and assisting students in overcoming academic obstacles. Helping them to stay on track and succeed. Working with students with special needs: autism, ADD, etc. as well as working with students in need of organization, prioritizing, and executive management.

Remote. Part time. I work with engineers, directors, and people in HR and various departments providing lesson plans geared toward advancing English communication for daily and business use. I teach Grammar, Conversation, Writing, Reading, Editing, and TOEFL/TOEIC test preparation. I edit and proofread reports, emails, and other written material while providing feedback for improvement. The clients companies have included: Nissan, Mercedes Benz, Chrysler, Bosch, and others and suppliers to these automotive corporations. The students' native languages have included: Japanese, German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and many other languages. I report progress to Global LT on a weekly/monthly basis and track improvement. I have also worked with spouses and children to teach them English and US culture. I’ve helped with everything from business reports to grammar, to public speaking, and conversation.

Taught middle school and high school students structured and creative writing including "going beyond the five-paragraph," mastering grammar, research papers, and other pre-college essays such as the argumentative, compare/contrast, persuasive, etc. I taught courses at various church campuses in the Detroit area. Created courses, curriculum, and lesson plans on a daily basis. I corresponded with parents and staff, graded, provided assignments, assessed, and tracked the students' progress.

Tutored children with Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) on a one-to-one basis in Phonics for Reading, Writing instruction and Math. Reported results to RLAC on a weekly basis regarding student focus areas, and discussed obstacles that could be overcome for the child's improvement with their parents.
