About Zachary

Hi, I’m Zach! I started my consulting journey as a sophomore summer Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company and later returned full-time, spending two years helping clients solve complex strategic problems. I eventually transitioned into corporate strategy, where I continue to work on challenging business problems from a different perspective. I know firsthand how overwhelming the consulting recruiting process can feel, especially for students who may not have traditional access to recruiting resources or consulting networks. Today, I coach aspiring consultants to help them build confidence, sharpen their case interview skills, and navigate the recruiting process with a clear and structured approach. My goal is to help you feel more prepared and confident as you pursue a career in consulting.

Why do I coach?

I’m interested in case coaching because I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to pursue management consulting from a non-target school. Without the same level of built-in recruiting resources, alumni networks, or access to guidance, the path to earning a consulting offer can feel much more difficult to navigate. Having successfully gone through that process myself and earned offers from both McKinsey and BCG, I want to help other candidates, particularly those from non-traditional backgrounds, build the skills, confidence, and structured approach needed to succeed in case interviews and ultimately break into management consulting.
