About Yasiara
I'm an international education consultant with a background in admissions and academic advising. Born in Colombia to a Franco-Colombian mother and Spanish father, I've lived in multiple countries, including France, Spain, Austria, and the U.S., where I studied in the French Lycée system. Fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Italian, I bring a global perspective to my work. I hold a B.A. in Economics and a Master’s in International Affairs from Columbia University. My experience includes serving as Director of Admissions at MIP Business School of the Politecnico di Milano and consulting on internationalization for universities and high schools. Over the years, I’ve conducted 7,000+ interviews with students worldwide, guiding them through the admissions process. As the founder of Misstudy, I provide personalized, online counseling for students seeking higher education opportunities globally. Misstudy’s motto, “Think globally, act locally,” reflects my mission to help students become global citizens
Why do I coach?
I believe in the power of informed decisions and strategic planning to shape meaningful academic and professional journeys. With my global experience in education and admissions, I help students navigate complex processes, ensuring they find the right opportunities to thrive.
