With a background as a pharmacist and a former 1st generation college student, I strongly believe that " health is our wealth" so I have each of my clients incorporate at least one self-care goal as a foundation to successfully launch your career coaching experience. As an avid cyclist and traveler, I practice what I preach as I have recently accomplished my goal of visiting all 50 states in parallel to transitioning my own career to become an entrepreneur as the CEO and Founder of my own coaching practice and business, Journey to Joy Coaching LLC. With over 25 years of hands-on experience helping hundreds of professionals to include recent college graduates, individual contributors and senior leaders within diverse industries navigate next steps in their career, I understand that every client's pathway to success is unique. Utilizing a holistic approach, I serve as your accountability partner that utilizes effective communication skills in conjunction with offering you customizable tools i.e. assessments, resources in a way that best supports your specific needs. For those clients with a specific interest in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector, I spent a significant portion of my career being successfully employed at two Fortune 500 companies concluding with a 4 year stint as career development coach and program Lead within Medical Affairs. I remain engaged in the academic arena as a member of the Dean's Board of Advisors at my alma mater, the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy.
