Tristan has helped clients get into these schools:

Hi there! My name is Tristan. I was fortunate to be accepted to 17 of the top 20 medical schools in the U.S., including Harvard, Hopkins, Stanford, and NYU. As someone who recently navigated the medical school application process, I know exactly what you're up against—and how confusing and high-stakes it can feel. Through my own journey, alongside conversations with applicants, current medical students, faculty, and admissions staff, I've learned about how admissions decisions get made, what differentiates applicants who look similar on paper, and what you can do to maximize your odds. I specialize in helping applicants build applications that are cohesive, strategic, and deeply authentic. An application where every piece (personal statement, activities, secondaries, and interviews) reinforces a clear, compelling narrative about who you are and why medicine is the right path for you. Most applicants undersell themselves or present a fragmented story; I help you identify what truly sets you apart and make that impossible to miss. Beyond writing, I offer end-to-end guidance: school-specific strategies, activity framing, interview preparation, and real-time feedback grounded in what top programs are actually looking for. If you’re aiming high and want a coach who will be honest, strategic, and fully invested in your success, please reach out—I’d love to work with you!! :)

About Tristan

Hi there, my name is Tristan! I'm from Seattle, WA and graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Biochemistry and as a Truman Scholar. I am currently completing an masters in public health at the University of Cambridge as a Gates Cambridge Scholar. I am also an incoming medical student at Stanford School of Medicine. I grew up in a multicultural household and much of my work has been shaped by an interest in medicine, public health, and how to improve health systems. During college, I worked in emergency medicine, public health initiatives, and research focused on chronic disease and prevention. Through my academic and personal experiences, I've developed a strong understanding of what makes an application stand out at the highest level. Outside of work, I enjoy running, playing table tennis, and reading.

Why do I coach?

Writing about yourself in a compelling and cohesive way is difficult. It requires stepping back, identifying what actually matters in your experiences, and connecting everything into a story that makes sense. It's something I got a lot of help with, and it made ALL the difference in my outcomes. Coaching is my way of providing that same kind of clarity and support to others. I’ve worked with students, peers, and mentees on their applications, and what I enjoy most is helping people recognize their strengths, build confidence in their story, and communicate it effectively. My goal is to help you present the strongest, most authentic version of yourself and give you the best possible shot at the opportunities you’re aiming for.
