Tosa’s MBA Qualifications

Tosa has helped clients get into these schools:

Welcome to my profile! I'm an incoming MBA candidate at Wharton, and I'm passionate about the MBA world and helping people discover how they can leverage the degree to achieve their goals. Outside of Wharton, I was admitted to 3 other M7 programs (Booth, Kellogg, Columbia). I worked with an admissions consultant and completed the MLT MBA Prep program this past year, so I've been entrenched in the MBA admissions process and have a lot of insight to share. My specialties include application strategy, school selection, navigating career goals, articulating a personal brand, resume/essay editing, and interview prep. Let's go to work!

About Tosa

I’m an incoming MBA candidate at Wharton, currently based in Houston, TX where I grew up. I went to the University of Texas at Austin for undergrad, where I studied petroleum engineering and cultivated a passion for the energy industry. Since graduating, I’ve worked in engineering, operations, and consulting with an energy focus, and I’m now in the process of pivoting to work in the energy transition space focused on decarbonization and sustainability within energy. The MBA for me is an opportunity to build my leadership skills, commercial acumen, and network as I enter the next phase of my career. In my spare time I love to watch basketball (and play every now and then), watch anime, travel (very much looking forward to all the MBA trips), collect sneakers, and recently I’ve been on a quest to tap into my Nigerian heritage.

Why do I coach?

Coaching is important to me because it helps people reach their potential and unlock opportunities to pursue and develop passions. I’ve been fortunate to have coaches and mentors in the past and present who have helped me learn what I’m capable of and challenge me to grow as a professional and as a human being. As it relates to the MBA, I’ve had formal coaches as well as current students and alumni who have guided me in my MBA journey and set me up for success, and I’m eager to pay it forward to others.
