About Tom
I'm a software engineer, engineering leader, and startup builder who loves turning ideas into real businesses. Over the past 10+ years I've built products from the ground up, led engineering teams, and worked alongside founders to solve difficult technical and business problems. I've helped launch products in healthcare and aviation, built SaaS platforms from scratch, introduced AI into engineering workflows, and helped scale a startup to more than $1M in monthly revenue. What I enjoy most is helping founders avoid expensive mistakes. Whether it's validating an MVP, choosing the right technology, hiring engineers, or figuring out how AI can automate parts of the business, I focus on practical advice that gets companies moving faster—not theoretical frameworks.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I've seen how much time, money, and stress founders can save by making the right technical decisions early. I've made plenty of mistakes throughout my career, and I've learned that having someone who's been there can dramatically change the outcome of a company. I enjoy helping founders think through product strategy, technical architecture, hiring, AI, and scaling—not by giving generic advice, but by working through real problems together. My goal is for every conversation to leave you with something practical you can implement immediately.
