Strategic Advisor

Chief Innovation Officer and Deputy Vice-Chancellor

Kepler is a non-governmental organization working in Rwanda since 2013 in partnership with Southern New Hampshire University. We support students in their online studies through in-person coaching, comprehensive support services and facilities, and career preparation. Kepler makes sure that graduates have the skills and attitudes to build successful careers and improve their communities. Led Kepler's faculty, student advising, data, and learning and design teams.

Director of Product Management

Crafted and implemented approaches for Year Up to dramatically expand its professional training for underserved young adults. Led innovation projects both to modernize the existing education model and to bring new disruptive models to the market. Provided internal innovation consulting. - Created strategy, budget, and production partnership for a $750k career readiness program; executed lean product development. - Created academic narratives for funding applications and reported progress to funders in writing and in person.

Director of Content Operations

Created curriculum strategy, negotiated partnerships with software development content providers, and led content production. Measured and optimized the effectiveness of all content and marketing operations. Provided professional services to enterprise customers. Managed learner acquisition and support. - Built and coached an international team of eleven expert curators who were full-time software developers. Designed curation tools and created best-practice documentation for instructional design and platform usage. - Built a scalable model to generate web traffic through content curation and content marketing.

Relationship Manager

Managed the partner accounts from Europe and Africa. Advised them on instructional design, revenue models, capacity building, and selection of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). Served on the three-person Education Policy and Quality committee chaired by the CEO and managed policy implementation. - Led the launch of a multi-million dollar High School Initiative with two requests for proposals to build over sixty courses. - Went from 11 to 23 accounts within five months by increasing efficiency while also on-boarding two new relationship managers. - Negotiated licensing agreements between edX university partners and MOOC platforms in Jordan and China.
