Why do I coach?

As a first-generation college graduate, I have leaned heavily on my own mentors and sherpas to access opportunities in venture capital. Without them, and a ton of luck, it would have been essentially impossible to know where to look, what to say, and how to win in what is a characteristically closed and nuanced industry. Let's talk. I've also learned how nuanced investors can be in their own work - how they think about early-stage investment opportunities, how they interpret founder behavior, and what leads them to lean in/out on deal. I have helped dozens of founders look around corners and currently do this full-time at my own startup.
