Designed a fully automated robot for quality testing of Lacrosse sticks, which dynamically tests sticks in a repeatable manner in order to reduce the experiment variability associated with human testing. Manufactured a versatile, durable, and repeatedly accurate machine capable of performing a variety of testing procedures while collecting data relevant to stiffness, stress, and strain rate of the sticks. Designed and implemented all sensors, actuators, and control systems of the robot including the design of all circuits and programming of the user interface and other robotic control systems. Built the physical chassis and several of the other mechanical subsystems using various manufacturing methods such as welding, water jet cutting, lathing, and milling.

Conducted studies on the In-Situ High Strain Rate Magnesium Deformation and thermo-mechanical processing of Magnesium Alloys to investigate new lightweight, and high potential strength alloys. Experienced in the use of Vickers Indenter and inverted optical microscope for conducting hardness tests on different Magnesium alloy samples. Skilled at using EDM wire cutting, multi-prep polishers, ECAP extrusion, PF fan convection ovens, and controlled atmosphere furnaces for preparation, thermal aging, and solutionising of the samples. Generated analytical reports using the obtained data to investigate material properties.
