About Shubhankar

Hello and welcome! I'm Shubhankar, a lifelong problem solver committed to driving sustainable change across the world by leveraging technology and business. I am driven by helping people from all backgrounds due to my global upbringing across India, China, Japan, and the United States. My journey began in the field of mechanical engineering, where I honed my quantitative problem-solving skills and passion for science and technology. This phase encompassed diverse industries, including biotech and automotive, sparking my initial drive to improve the quality of life for people globally. This led my transition into consulting, joining Accenture Strategy, where I used my problem-solving mindset and embraced empathy-first leadership to drive sustainability changes for clients. I spearheaded multiple C-suite and enterprise strategy projects in sustainability across Mobility, Technology, and Consumer Products sectors, while mentoring analysts and fellow consultants to develop into high-performers. I am currently pursuing my MBA at Kellogg on scholarship. I view this chapter of life as an incredible pathway to explore diverse career opportunities and help like-minded, driven individuals, such as yourself. My time at business school has immersed me in a cohort dedicated to helping individuals achieve their career goals, providing a rich environment for personal and professional growth. As an MBA and consulting admissions coach, I bring a wealth of experience to the table. Having coached numerous students in the earlier stages of their application process, I am well-versed in perfecting resumes, crafting compelling narratives, and guiding individuals to select the programs best suited for them. I am excited about the prospect of helping you navigate any stage of the MBA or consulting recruiting journey, and I look forward to witnessing your success in achieving your goals. Let's embark on this journey together!

Why do I coach?

Coaching is an integral part of my journey and something deeply rooted in my passion for guiding others. From my early days as a mentor and tutor in high school, I've found immense fulfillment in helping individuals navigate their paths. What struck me most was the profound impact of an external perspective in unlocking people's potentials. Through my own experiences, I've realized that no one should have to navigate their journey solo. It's about creating a supportive environment where individuals can explore and understand their capabilities in a way that resonates with their unique aspirations. The sense of purpose and gratitude I've gained from my journey fuels my commitment to extending similar opportunities to others. Being able to share the lessons and insights I've gathered along the way is immensely rewarding. Ultimately, coaching for me is about paying forward the support and guidance I've received, enabling others to uncover their strengths and pursuits with confidence.
