Research and Development Engineer

-Spearheaded and voluntarily initiated company's digital transformation, by modeling full-vehicle multibody simulations, led multi-national projects, and wrote Turkish affiliate's first ever scientific paper for Springer Nature, which was cited 18 times, having an 88th percentile ranking among other Nature articles Achievements and responsibilities included the following: • Overcame a design challenge and digitally transformed vehicle testing processes, saving the company 200K Euro per each test truck and reducing test cycles by 4 months • Conducted computer aided conception, design, and testing for next generation Mercedes-Benz trucks • Coordinated all R&D activities on several fronts within Mercedes-Benz Turkey, promoted twice through increasing responsibilities • Supervised the project related to the development of new air suspension systems, saving the company 65K Euro per year on average and assisting the local supplier in competing against global players • Elected as the leader of a 6-person project team as part of an overseas assignment in Germany • Assisted DAIMLER India Commercial Vehicles Pvt.
