About Seema
I'm currently a second year MBA student at Columbia Business School, and I'll be joining McKinsey's New York Office as an Associate consultant in 2025. Prior to business school, I spent 5+ years in corporate finance & strategy (at Microsoft & Outdoor Voices). As someone who went through the the MBA application and consulting recruiting processes not too long ago, I know how competitive and challenging they can be - I've helped people with resume reviews, essay revisions, case prep, and behavioral interview prep, and my mentees have secured interviews/offers from MBB, big-4 consulting firms, and more. Why do I coach?
I know how daunting and isolating it can feel to navigate challenging recruiting and application processes early in your professional career. I was fortunate to have incredible mentors and coaches who not only equipped me to submit strong applications and succeed in interviews but also provided invaluable moral support during those times. Their guidance made a profound impact on my journey, and I’ve carried that forward with me. Since college, I’ve cherished being part of mentorship programs—both as a mentee and as a mentor. These experiences have been instrumental to my growth and success, and I’m passionate about paying it forward to support others on their journeys.
