About Scott

I spent my first 9 years working as an Analyst at a c. $4B long/short hedge fund allocating capital across the US, Europe, and Asia. My sector coverage included TMT, consumer, internet, and medtech. After 9 years, I attended grad school at Columbia, where I secured a summer position with Francisco Partners and completed two full deal cycles on both (i) the software and (ii) the growth equity team. Post grad school, I transitioned into VC by landing a role at Lightspeed. I secured all three roles without the traditional investment bank to PE to Hedge Fund background. As a result, I can work with both (i) current analysts on best practices in research, ideation, etc. and (ii) prospective analysts with unconventional backgrounds on standing out during the interviewing process.
