Sarah’s Product Management Qualifications
Experience level: Product Manager
Sarah has helped clients get into these companies:
I’m uniquely qualified to coach non-traditional product managers because I’ve lived the path myself. I graduated with a degree in International Affairs, with no product management internships and no traditional PM background. My early experience came from tech sales internships, yet I still landed a role in an Associate Product Management program by leveraging storytelling, positioning, and transferable skills rather than a “perfect” resume. Today, I help non-traditional candidates, career 'switchers', and tech enthusisasts do the same. I work with clients to reframe their background as an asset, not a liability, so they feel empowered rather than discouraged by their education or past experience. My goal is to help them pursue product management opportunities with confidence, clarity, and a compelling narrative, because there is more than one valid path into product and diverse experiences make better product leaders.

About Sarah
My journey into product management started from an unconventional background as an International Affairs major with ZERO technical experience. I’ve always been driven by curiosity and a desire to understand how systems work, which naturally evolved into a passion for solving problems in tech. That curiosity first led me to an internship at Google, where I learned how innovation and strategy come together to shape user experiences. From there, I applied that same mindset to break into Product Management in Capital One's Product Development Rotational Program. Since then, I’ve worked across both front-end and back-end teams, led high-impact initiatives, and presented my work to senior leadership. Beyond my day-to-day work, I’ve served on leadership councils, represented my company at major conferences, and played an active role in developing early-career talent.
Why do I coach?
My true expertise lies in helping others crack the case, especially those coming from non-technical or unconventional paths. I’ve mastered behavioral and case-style interviews and love coaching others to tell their story with confidence and clarity. Whether you’re preparing for your first product role, navigating a new environment, or trying to translate your non-technical background into a compelling product story, I’m here to help you do it with strategy, confidence, and authenticity!
