About Rohan
McKinsey EM --> Tech Product & GTM --> AI Founder During my time at McKinsey, I spent 2 years doing what was internally known as a "random walk", working across industries and functions. This was an incredibly formative time for me, as I had the opportunity to see firsthand how businesses work. I was able to walk factory floors to identify efficiency opportunities, deliver market entry analyses to C suites, and build perspectives on investment opportunities to investors. After this period of exploration, I decided to focus on healthcare due to a combination of intellectual interest and opportunity to drive patient impact. I spent two years working with healthcare companies, and eventually transitioned to becoming a team leader. I loved the opportunities to coach and mentor younger colleagues that came with this, and was consistently impressed and inspired by the energy, enthusiasm, and dedication that they brought. After my time in consulting, I transitioned into the technology world. I joined logistics AI vendor Vooma, where I was the first deployment strategist - a role that blended product thinking with GTM execution. I worked closely with freight brokerages to implement AI in their businesses. After seeing firsthand the level of business impact that AI can drive and the speed at which technology is advancing, I decided to start up my own healthcare AI venture. We are in our early days, but are growing rapidly and have an ambition to drive better care for patients and financial outcomes for healthcare providers. My time in consulting was incredibly valuable to me, both personally and professionally, and I am excited to support others looking to begin their career in the industry.
Why do I coach?
I enjoy working with ambitious and talented individuals to help them launch their career. I personally believe that starting your career in the right place can your career a 'slope' that is difficult to replicate later in life. That said, it is challenging to navigate the somewhat opaque recruiting process to capture that opportunity. There are all sorts of obscure tips and tricks to crafting the right resume or executing on a case study, that might trip up even candidates with high amounts of raw talent. I want to work with these high-potential candidates to make the process less opaque, channel the limited time in their busy schedules effectively, and be perceived as shoe-ins for consulting roles.
