About Phillip

A little bit about my story... I am a Biomedical Engineering Student at Georgia Tech, with a minor in industrial design. In high school, I was involved in several business competition clubs (DECA, FBLA, HOSA) which spurred my passion for entrepreneurship and innovation. The experience, mixed with my life-long interest within medicine, led me to pursue a degree in Biomedical Engineering at the #1 Undergraduate BME Program in the country (US News). Coming to Georgia Tech, I've had to opportunity to be involved in research as early as freshman year alongside industry-leaders in neurology and sports medicine. Whether it's evaluating the safety of football helmets or the monitoring of intracranial pressure within TBI patients, my passion for medical technology opened up doors within medicine I never knew existed. I've had the opportunity to intern at some of the largest medical device and biopharmaceutical companies in the world, and exciting emerging companies helping to lead the way in innovative therapies. However, things were not so cut and clear from the start. In high school, I felt a little lost on what path I should take academically and professionally. I had a strong interest in medicine, loved the complexity of engineering, and developed a strong foundation in business - but struggled to connect those passions into a clear path forward. Navigating that uncertainty is what ultimately shaped my journey. Many students face that same feeling when they begin the college admissions process or when they land on campus—overwhelmed by choices and unsure how to position themselves. Through my own experience with college admissions and the transition into a competitive university, I’ve been able to help students find clarity, build strong applications, and gain admission to top schools. My goal is to help students approach this process with confidence, direction, and a clear understanding of their unique story.
