Prior to embarking on my career, I was a first-string running back in youth football for 8 years. I mention this, because to obtain a first-string position, you had to put in the work, listen to your coaches, and beat out the competition each season. Year-over-year. Period. After high school, I joined the Army Reserves and became a Squad Leader for my platoon. I am adding this to underscore my penchant for leadership and guiding people from a young age. I also learned many skills around organization and accountability during my 6 years in the Army Reserves. I began my career as a Graphic Designer and navigated my professional growth, and subsequently becoming an Art Director, Associate Creative Director, Creative Director, VP, Group VP, and managed a cross-discipline global team as a Global Creative Director. As a Global Creative Director, I mentored junior designers and managers, helping them transition into leadership roles. One of my proudest moments was guiding a team member from an entry-level position to managing a regional team in under three years. My background in leading global teams required exceptional communication, active listening, and strategic thinking—skills essential for a career coach. Additionally, my ability to inspire confidence and foster professional growth has been a consistent theme in my leadership journey. I am eager to bring my years of leadership and mentorship experience to a career coaching role, where I can help others navigate their professional paths and unlock their full potential.
