About Nick
I help people navigate transitions—those moments when life changes course: a career shift, a move abroad, the end of a relationship, or the quiet question of whether you’re on the right path at all. I once thought I was. My resume filled with things that sounded impressive: Navy pilot, Berkeley MBA, product manager in electric aviation. But deep down, the path I had worked so hard to follow didn’t feel like my own. So I stepped off it. I wandered Latin America learning Spanish. I taught. I worked in a small town in Paraguay, helping the community create a national park. I even spent a summer working at a particle accelerator in Los Alamos. Some chapters were full of joy, others painful—but together they showed me something important. Life isn’t linear. It bends, doubles back, and surprises us. Real success isn’t about titles or paychecks—it’s about finding meaning and alignment. That’s the work I do with others: walking alongside them as they pause, reorient, and discover the path that’s truly theirs.
Why do I coach?
I know what it feels like to stand at a crossroads with no clear map. Leaving the military, navigating divorce, and eventually finding my own “pathless path” taught me that transitions can feel overwhelming—but they’re also opportunities to design a more meaningful life. I coach because I love it. I coach because helping others feels good. I coach because every conversation helps me learn. The journey never really ends. There’s no silver bullet. But if you’d like a companion for part of your path, I’d be honored to walk with you.
