Hello! I’m Neha, ex-McKinsey and EY consultant from the NYC offices Want to break into consulting? Having done it twice, I know how intimidating consulting recruiting can feel. Beyond having worked at two top consulting firms, I was one of a few candidates to land an offer at McKinsey New York from my MBA program, one of the most coveted offices in North America (and one of two from my undergrad to receive an offer at EY New York). While at McKinsey, I was chosen to spend 6+ weeks fully dedicated to recruiting efforts instead of client work, working directly with McKinsey’s recruiters. During that time, I helped applicants prepare for interviews, hosted coffee chats/ panels, and served as a resume screener, making decisions on who received an interview and who didn’t.
