About Michael
I’m a career coach and college admissions consultant with 9+ years of experience helping students and early-career professionals break into top schools and Fortune 1000 companies. I’ve led remote externship programs for 1,000+ students per month with an NPS above 70 and partnered with employers like PwC, Snap Inc., Beats by Dre, HP Tech Venture, AT&T, and The Home Depot to give students real-world, project-based experience; more than 70% of completers went on to land internships or full-time roles at Fortune 1000 employers. On the career side, I help you clarify your goals, translate your experience into impact-driven bullets, build targeted resumes and cover letters, optimize LinkedIn, and design a focused job search strategy. We’ll practice realistic mock interviews, prepare for case and behavioral questions, and plan your salary negotiation so you can confidently advocate for your value. On the admissions side, I bring insight from reading thousands of applications as an Assistant Director at Boston University and an Admissions Reader for Dartmouth College. I support you from first school list to final submit: building a balanced list, shaping your positioning, designing or refining projects, guiding outreach to professors, and giving detailed feedback on personal statements and supplements. My goal is to position you as a compelling candidate for highly selective schools and connect your admissions story with a long-term career path that actually excites you.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I’ve seen, over and over, that talent is universal but access and information are not. In higher education, edtech, and nonprofit roles, I’ve worked with driven students who were doing everything “right” but still felt stuck; unsure how to stand out to a Top 20 school, turn an externship/internships into an offer, or advocate for themselves in a salary conversation. What motivates me is bridging that gap between effort and outcomes and watching students go from overwhelmed to confident: with a clear plan, a compelling story, and real options; whether that’s admission to a dream school, an offer from a Fortune 1000 company, or both.
