About Meredith
I spent 2 years in boutique investment banking at Guggenheim Securities, 2 years of private equity at TPG and now I am now getting my MBA at HBS. I helped lead recruiting efforts at both Guggenheim and TPG, holding coffee chats, grading models, and conducting interviews. While I’ve pulled my fair share of late nights building models, prepping IC decks, and working in fast-paced, high-pressure environment, I have been very lucky to have found amazing mentors who have given me opportunities to "stretch" and taught me the importance of building long-term, meaningful relationships in your career. I have also faced rejection--interviews I didn't do well on, jobs I didn't get--I can help you learn *what you shouldn't do* as much as what you should. Some things I care about: helping people break into finance. Building a career that’s high-performing and relationship-driven. Talking honestly about tradeoffs. Supporting women in male-dominated industries. Some more *fun* facts about me: I was a waitress and bartender at an Irish pub in college, I have hiked Patagonia and run the NYC marathon, I love to read (ideally alternating between fiction and non-fiction), and I am very passionate about women's health (working at a digital health start up this summer).
Why do I coach?
I want to coach because my mentors have changed my life. Every step I’ve taken—from deciding to recruit for banking with almost no prior finance exposure to navigating PE recruiting to applying to business school—was shaped by people who took the time to share their journey and give honest feedback, motivational words, or helpful encouragement. I want to be that person for you! To help demystify the process, make space for the hard questions, and help you move forward with confidence. Whether you’re just starting out, figuring out how to break in, trying to stand out, or just wondering if it’s even the right fit—let’s chat!
