My coaching journey began the same way many career stories do—by feeling the heaviness and lack of clarity that comes with a job search. Fresh out of undergrad and unsure of how to navigate the job market, I knew I needed help but didn’t even know what kind of help to ask for. When I eventually landed my first role at Honeywell Aerospace, something unexpected happened: students and early-career professionals started reaching out to me for advice. I began helping them with resumes, not as a business, but simply because I enjoyed it—and I was good at it. Word spread. Resumes started showing up in my inbox unsolicited. I rewrote hundreds of them for free. Along the way, I realized I could do more than polish documents— I could navigate applicant tracking systems, build strategy, and empower people to land jobs they were excited about. So I started asking deeper questions—not to Google, but to real hiring managers and recruiters. I developed a modern, evidence-based approach to job search strategy, rooted in what actually works in today’s market. I then felt like I could charge for my expertise. What began as resume support grew into coaching on LinkedIn strategy, job searching, interviewing, salary negotiation, and career advancement. As my skills and results grew, so did the level of my clientele. I began working with senior-level professionals—Senior Managers, Directors, VPs, and C-suite leaders. That momentum became a full-scale executive coaching business, and I’ve now coached more than 4,000 professionals over the past 12 years. To deepen my expertise, I earned an MBA and served as a VP of HR at a transportation company, where I gained firsthand insight into recruiting and talent acquisition. I also built and sold a successful career consulting firm and now operate independently as an executive coach. Today, I speak at universities, collaborate with organizations, and work with professionals across industries who are ready to take the next step in their careers.
