Corporate litigation & insolvency • Led negotiations with insolvency practitioners and stakeholders in a landmark Belgian insolvency case for a leading European company in the nuclear sector, securing our client’s acquisition of its key supplier. • Handled and won a three-year-long €1M corporate litigation dispute over an insurance company share acquisition, from pre-litigation to court pleadings, enabling the client to complete the sale of the company. • Launched and led the ‘CMS Sustainability Month’, driving firm-wide carbon footprint analysis, delivering workshops on ESG, biodiversity and climate (‘Climate Fresk’), engaging with the board of directors & 150 participants. • Authored 3 articles in corporate law journals, participated in writing a leading Belgian law book on corporate directors’ liability, and led several workshops and newsletters on the topic.
