I've been teaching cybersecurity to new students to the field for over 5 years for multiple training programs, including transitional training to prepare students transitioning out of the military and into cybersecurity roles in the private sector. I excel specifically at adult and prior military experienced students, but have also trained high school level and no prior military background as well. My goal is to break down hard to understand concepts to my students to make their learning experience as easy and as fun as possible. I prefer to only do live training when I can, and try to avoid PowerPoints when possible. This methodology provides the best learning environment for students who are working on learning the fundamentals, though I am technical and can provide training at higher levels when necessary, meeting students where they are during their training.
