About Leandro
Hi!! I'm Lalo - a recent WashU graduate and incoming associate at BCG. I'm a huge How to Train Your Dragon fan, aspiring photographer, novel salsa dancer and am learning Latin percussion :) My professional journey began with BCG's Growing Future Leaders (GFL) diversity program before working as a Summer Associate and now preparing to join full-time. Just as I received so much guidance in my own recruiting process, it's meant everything to try and pay that mentorship forward as I've worked with many of my peers and run 400+ cases in the past few years to help them navigate the world of consulting. Over time I've developed strategies to succeed throughout the interview process and feel more than capable of helping you succeed! Why do I coach?
Democratizing the career tips and information I've received is at the center of everything I do as a coach. I felt incredibly overwhelmed when beginning my casing journey, and I aspire to make the right next steps for everyone to succeed as clear and attainable as possible! Speaking with first and final round interviewers at BCG, I've also learned that casing proficiency is but a single component factored into an applicant's consideration. I love workshopping ways to integrate personal experiences and unique strengths into cases to fully communicate the individual skillsets everyone brings. On the theme of moving beyond just increasing technical proficiency, I enjoy the opportunities casing offers to improve creative ideation, thoughtfulness and presenting with confidence - all elements of consulting recruiting I'm eager to help you continuously develop!
