Teacher
C2 Educate
December 2025 - Present
I am an experienced tutor at C2 Education, where I work with students from 5th through 12th grade across a wide range of subjects and standardized test preparation. I provide individualized instruction tailored to each student’s learning style, academic goals, and confidence level. My subject expertise includes English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, as well as standardized test preparation for the SAT (Math and Evidence-Based Reading & Writing) and ACT. I focus on building strong foundational skills, improving problem-solving strategies, and teaching test-taking techniques that help students perform under pressure. I emphasize clear explanations, active practice, and consistent feedback to help students improve grades, strengthen test scores, and develop long-term academic skills. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to build confidence and independence in their learning.

Medical Student
Robert Wood Johnson Medical School
July 2022 - Present
I am a fourth-year medical student applying to anesthesiology, with a strong commitment to patient care, leadership, and health equity. Throughout medical school, I have balanced rigorous clinical training with active involvement in student leadership and community service. I served as Vice President of the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) and President of the Catholic Medical Association (CMA), where I led initiatives focused on mentorship, service, and professional development for fellow medical students. In these roles, I collaborated with faculty and peers to organize educational events, community outreach, and faith-based service opportunities. I am also an active member of the Quality Improvement team at our student-run clinic, where I contribute to projects aimed at improving clinical workflows and patient outcomes. Additionally, I serve as a Spanish interpreter for Spanish-speaking patients, helping reduce language barriers and improve access to care for underserved populations. These experiences have strengthened my leadership skills, interdisciplinary collaboration, and commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care—values I plan to carry forward into a career in anesthesiology.

Data Analyst
Labcorp
May 2021 - July 2022
I worked as a Data Analyst at Labcorp across both the Data Science and Clinical Trials teams, where I developed data-driven tools used in real-world clinical and research settings. On the Data Science team, I helped design and implement a machine learning algorithm using large-scale laboratory data to predict the progression of estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) in patients with chronic kidney disease. This model was built to support clinical decision-making and has since been integrated into the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system, where it is now used by healthcare providers nationwide. I later transitioned to the Clinical Trials team, where I led development of an internal application leveraging natural language processing (NLP) to analyze clinical trial protocols. The tool automatically extracted inclusion and exclusion criteria from unstructured trial documents and matched them against Labcorp’s patient database to identify eligible participants. This significantly streamlined patient recruitment and improved efficiency in clinical trial operations. Across both roles, I collaborated closely with clinicians, researchers, and engineers to translate complex data into actionable insights, with a focus on improving patient care and accelerating clinical research.
