Hi everyone! My name is Kavya, and I am from sunny Orlando, Florida. When I applied to medical school, I was fortunate to receive interview invites from all but one of the schools I applied to, and received acceptances to several top schools, including Harvard, Stanford, UPenn, Columbia, and Yale. I know how long and stressful applying to medical school can be, so whatever stage you are at in the process, remember to be kind to yourself and be proud of how far you have come! In college and during my gap years, I spent my time doing neurodegenerative disease and public health research, as well as advocacy work with a free health screening organization.
