About Karthika

I’m currently an MBA student at Wharton, and I successfully broke into investment banking while also getting into top business schools—all from a non-traditional background. As a first-generation immigrant, I understand the unique challenges of telling your story and navigating the process. I’d love to help you craft your story, build your profile and resume, and prep for interviews. I’ve also been helping my Wharton friends with their Investment Banking interview prep, and they’ve landed offers from top banks.

Why do I coach?

Having recently navigated the MBA admissions and investment banking interview processes, I initially felt lost about what schools and banks truly look for. Many of my peers had the advantage of parents who had been through similar journeys and knew how to craft a compelling story. This experience highlighted the immense value of having a mentor, and I realized I wanted to be that mentor for others. At Wharton, I started helping friends during their recruitment process and discovered my passion for coaching. I genuinely enjoy working closely with individuals, guiding them to achieve their goals, and I aim to take on a few students to support them in realizing their goals.
