About Karen
I've worked in partnerships and BD for over a decade and through it all, I've always felt energized by helping others. Whether you're coming from consulting, banking, or an MBA program, pivoting from sales or marketing within tech, or making a bigger leap from somewhere like CPG or finance, chances are you already know how to build relationships, navigate complexity, and make a case in a room. What you might be missing is the insider playbook for how partnerships actually functions inside a tech company, what hiring managers are really looking for, and how to translate your background into language that lands. I understand this journey because it took me a lot of trial and error to get here. From my own pivot from consulting into tech to leading high-stakes deals at Uber, Snapchat, and Foursquare to now running my fractional partnerships consultancy - I've learned my fair share of lessons that apply to skills on the job as well as the nuances of navigating career development and transitions. My goal as your coach is to translate these hard-earned lessons into a roadmap for you, offering the strategic rigor and honest feedback you need to move toward your next chapter with clarity and confidence.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I enjoy helping people achieve their goals. Looking back, I didn't have a roadmap for the complex environments I found myself in. Having navigated everything from toxic cultures to constant reorgs to total career pivots, I now enjoy paying forward the lessons I learned the hard way. Beyond the tactical, I love the process of helping individuals find their voice in a noisy professional landscape. Whether we're navigating breaking into partnerships or a tricky career situation, I view our work together as a partnership to unlock growth.
