About Kamali

I am a healthcare leader who believes that navigating graduate admissions should not feel exclusive, mysterious, or financially out of reach. I completed my MPH in Health Care Management at the Yale School of Public Health and I am currently pursuing my MBA at Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. Professionally, I serve as a Division Administrator at Rush University Medical Center, supporting clinicians, researchers, and trainees across several divisions in advancing patient care and academic missions. Before Rush, I served as Executive Director of a free clinic that provided care to uninsured patients, taught healthcare finance and policy courses at Yale, and worked on enterprise strategy initiatives at Kaiser Permanente and Northwestern Medicine. Through those experiences, I have coached students, career switchers, and early professionals on admissions, essays, interviews, and intentional career planning. What motivates me is ensuring that talented applicants, especially those without built-in networks in academia or healthcare, do not feel priced out of opportunity. Access to insight, networks, and wisdom should not cost an arm and a leg. My philosophy is simple: provide elite, experience-backed guidance with accessible pricing so students can focus on growth and impact rather than gatekeeping.

Why do I coach?

I coach because I care deeply about expanding access and reducing unnecessary barriers in graduate education. Admissions can feel opaque and intimidating and often favors those who already understand the unwritten rules. I have seen how transformative mentorship and informed guidance can be, and I want more students to experience that support without needing deep pockets or insider connections. Accessible coaching is not only about affordability. It is also about leveling the playing field. Elite coaching with accessible pricing matters because talent and potential are not determined by someone’s family network or ability to pay. I coach to demystify the admissions process, help applicants communicate their stories with clarity and confidence, and ensure that motivated students from all backgrounds have a fair opportunity to pursue programs that can transform their careers.
