About Julie
I’ve lived and worked across the UK, Australia, the US, and France, and my career has taken me from running my own recruitment agency to HR consulting & career transition/outplacement coaching. I’ve worked with people in every sector, from finance and tech to healthcare and nonprofits, and what’s always struck me is how universal career challenges are. When I moved to Wisconsin years ago, I discovered my real passion, coaching people through transitions. Especially those moments after job loss or when you suddenly realize the role that once fit you no longer does. Outside of coaching, I’m a writer at heart. I love words, English language, and the art of telling a story, which is probably why I’m slightly obsessed with crafting resumes and LinkedIn profiles that actually get people seen!
Why do I coach?
I coach because, for me, coaching isn’t just about landing a job, it’s about helping people rediscover themselves when work has chipped away at their confidence. I coach because I’ve seen how quickly a career setback can make even the most capable person doubt their value. And there’s nothing more powerful than helping someone see their own strengths again, articulate their story, and step into a role that fits who they truly are. I get genuine joy from seeing others succeed, it’s what drives me, every single time.
