About Jessica
I am an experienced Senior Product Manager on Google Maps. I started by pursuing my passion, Geography at UCLA, and through following my heart at each step I've found that career success follows. I've also worked on nontraditional teams at Google, such as a startup (Kaggle) acquired into Google, or fast moving AI and modeling teams / accelerator projects. I also became a PM through nontraditional path, first starting off as a Data Analyst. Today I lead teams totaling around 3 main products and 50 people across the board. All of these experiences have taught me immensely, how to navigate through anything, trust your judgment, work smarter not harder, and know when/where to leverage resources.
Why do I coach?
Everyone needs a mentor or coach in life. People who've helped along the way helped me get to where I am. This is how I give back. I'm also a giver, and nothing makes a give more fulfilled than seeing a whole human grow and flourish. I have also extensive experience in career mentoring and coaching, sending many capable people into navigating their early career path whether that's product management or something else. My best work is my own brother, who I've helped navigate into Google as well. My approach is efficient, straightforward, and nurturing.
