Jennifer’s Registered Nurse Qualifications
Experience level: Manager
As a registered nurse for 16 years, I have gained experience in many different areas of nursing. I have worked many years in busy trauma centers and in small critical access facilities as well. I have been fortunate to have incredible nurse mentors that have helped shaped my career path, nurses that recognized my strengths in mentoring and training new staff before I even knew I was interested in it. I earned my Master's in Nursing Education to continue to grow in my own career, and to open opportunities to work with student nurses in both baccalaureate and associate degree programs. My passion for teaching student nurses grows each semester, and I particularly love helping students develop a personalized study plan that works for their life and works to their strengths. I am skilled at resume development, accomplished in earning acceptance into further education opportunities, and dedicated to helping others understand the steps necessary to achieve their own goals in healthcare. I continue to encourage and mentor new and experienced nurses in their career paths and hope to work with individuals who are motivated to be successful in nursing or other healthcare related fields!
