About Jake

I am a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) out of the Dallas, TX office. I currently am on LOA to get my MBA at Northwestern Kellogg. I have worked in projects across retail, restaurant, clean energy, automotive technology, operations, and telecommunications. I came to BCG in May 2021 after completing my Bachelor's degree at BYU in Statistics with a Minor in Business. My path to consulting was somewhat unorthodox. I originally discovered consulting fall of 2019 and quickly prepped to recruit for summer internship interviews, but was not prepared enough to make it past the first round of interviews. I continued to prepare for the next year, only to have the COVID-19 pandemic shake up traditional full-time recruiting the next fall. Fortunately, as I continued to network and prepare for a future interview I was able to recruit again with BCG under their "off-cycle" recruiting spring of 2021 and land a full-time offer.
