As an Access to Justice Legal Fellow with the University of South Carolina Law Veterans Legal Clinic, I provide critical legal assistance to veterans and their families throughout rural South Carolina , helping to address a variety of civil legal issues and veterans benefits issues that impact their daily lives. In this role, I worked closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and developed tailored legal strategies to ensure they received fair representation and access to vital benefits. This experience deepened my commitment to public service and reinforced the importance of removing barriers to justice for underserved communities.

During law school, I actively participated in the Veterans Legal Clinic, Veterans In Law Society, I helped establish the University of South Carolina School of Law National Security Law Society, and I served as a peer mentor during my 3L year. I was honored to receive the CALI Award for Legal Excellence in both Military Law and Secured Transactions. Through internships with the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army JAG Corps my first and second years of law school, I gained valuable legal experience. Additionally I participated in the University of South Carolina's Air Force ROTC Program and commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant this past May.
